My kids finish school at 3.20 every day and I usualy have plenty of time to do some shoppings before but this today I had some works to do.
So, I took them after shool to Polish store with strong decision to buy polish bread & few other goods.
When we reached it I reminded myself that I have no cash, very importent issue at store without card reader..
I left kids at store (with 100% sure they're in safety place, of course) & went out to nearest cash mahine. In the meanwhile I met my old (literally) neighbour who always wait for me to make a little chat.
Mr. H** is not quite like most of my neighbours, hasn't got hairlocks & wears wide brimmed hat.
He asked me about Jewish New Year card which he left me at my mail box.
I expressed as well as I could all of my thankfulness & apologies that I'm doing it so late but I wasn't sure who's the sender.
Then he asked me about my kids and I said
''They're fine. They're just waiting for me becouse I found I have no cash &.."
"Oh, you have no money'' he interrupted reaching to his pocket "I'll give you some"
"O, no! Thank you!' I said & explained the misunderstanding
"Remmeber' he said "If you'll need money, I will always help you.."
"Oh, gosh" I thought realy touched....
My husband said after that "He must realy like you"
